Col. and Mrs. Patton were always so good to our family. My folks spoke so very highly of both of them. When my husband and I got married in 1984, we were neighbors at Randolf, they gave us a really nice bedroom set. We still have that set. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family!!!

Just reflecting on my memories of Joyce and the many projects we worked on together in our church. She was so caring and loving toward everyone. I know I could always count on her to have cookies in her freezer for whom ever. When we wrapped gifts for our Christmas families I always counted on Joyce to have gift boxes available.
We have the family in our prayers.

Love,
Frank & Doris

In this very difficult time, please know, there are so many prayers for you and your family, Larry. Joyce was such a beautiful soul! I've never known a man to take such loving care of his wife. Your a role model to a lot of us. God bless you!

My heart is with Mr. Patton, Lazette, Doug and all the family during this time. As I grew up with Lazette, the Pattons treated me like their own. Mrs. Patton is an angel, who is as sweet as the angelical wings that lifted her to heaven. Her children are proof of the quality of Mom that she is and always will be. As she resides peacefully in heaven, she will continue to guide, love and watch her husband and children. Her sweet spirit continues in us, reminding us to be honorable in her foot steps. I will always remember the days I spent at the Patton's home when Lazette and I were in school and in Patriots. And, of course, the Patton's Christmas decorations were one of my favorites in Windcrest!

May Mrs. Patton live forever in our hearts. We are blessed by her forever.

The family, the United States Air Force and the Great State of Texas has lost a true spokeswoman, dedicated advocate and Grand Lady with the passing of Joyce Patton.
We grew to know, admire and respect Joyce during the two years (1980-1982) we were privileged to work for her husband Larry at USAF Recruiting Service. They were the ideal military couple and were true mentors to the men and women who worked there.
Heaven may be a richer place by Joyce's presence, but earth will be so much poorer.
