PORTER Graveside services for Joyce Wells “ Joy” Porter will be held 2PM Tuesday January 6, 2004 at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS CEMETERY 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, Fla with Rev. Floyd Long officiating. Mrs. Porter was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and John Wells; and her two brothers, Billy and Clarence Wells. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Jim Porter; son, Bill Sanford and his wife Susan; daughter, Vicki Vanderhoff and her husband Rich; sister, Naomi Benson and her husband Wayne; and six grandchildren, Bree, Bridget, and Trey Sanford, and Katie, David, and Emily Vanderhoff. Joy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Family will receive friends on Monday from 6PM - 8PM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
