Laurie, Cathy, Sheryl & Karen,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. It's comforting to know the Lord is just a prayer away to listen and to lift us and to love us day by day.
Today, tomorrow and always may God keep you in his loving care.

Ladies- your are blessed to have each other- many sisters.
Take care of each other and keep connected. A verse from the Bible-

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phillippians 4:6-7

Love & prayers,
Laurie- Your forever friend.

Having Joyce as a friend, and relative through marriage, has been an honor and a privilage. She was truly a wonderful lady - never a bad word to say about anyone - always had a big smile on her face - and she will be missed terribly . I will always remember her infectious laugh and her great stories. I would like to say that the love and care provided by her four daughters, over the past few years, and in particular, the past few weeks, was a wonderful thing to watch - and Cathy, Laurie, Karen and Sheryl - you should all be proud. She loved you all dearly, and I know she will be watching over you and yours for many years to come. I know you're in a better place Joyce - and I know we will meet again - and this time, it's my turn to buy..................Dixie Cherniwchan

Dear Cheryl and all of Joyce's family. Anna and I are so saddened to learn of Mom's passing. Such wonderful reflection we both have of our times spent with Joyce and all you girls. So many years go by and we tend to let other more important events in our lives prevent us from "keeping in touch". We will remember Mom Joyce dearly! Our love to all, Lorna and Anna (the Wohlgemuths'!) A memorial donation is being sent to The Alberta Lung Association for which we will locate a family member for acknowledgement. XXOO

Dear Grandma,

We would like to thank you for loving us so much in the short time we had together. Thank You for visiting us so much in the last 21 months and also for feeding us our bottles and reading us our favorite books and buying us cool toys. We would also like to thank you for doing such an excellent job raising our mommy. We have the best mommy who always has time for us despite her having our older brothers and having to work and run our house. She must have learned how to be such a wonderful mommy from you because you were her mommy. We love you Grandma and please keep an eye on us in Heaven.

My prayers are with all of you. Take comfort in knowing what a beautiful heart Joyce had. She was one of the kindest people I ever met. She will be missed.

March 24, 2010

I first met Joyce in Grade 7 and we became instant friends. As best "Buds" we shared some hilarious and somber times together. She went on my first honeymoon with me and was matron of honor for me at my second wedding. She has lived in my family as I have lived in hers. When she was in Red Deer, she came to visit every time she returned to the city. When I moved to Ashmont, she came often. My children were honored to call her "Auntie". My husband was honored to call her "Friend".I am and will always be honored to call her "Joy" for all the love, happiness and joy she brought to my life for 50 years.
To Cathy, Laurie, Karen and Sheryl my Deepest Sympathy. My heart goes out to you at this time as you cope with such a great loss. Please remember your Mom as the most wonderful person in your lives and she will smile on you from above. Respectfully yours,"Auntie Barb"

My very deepest condolences to all my cousins from Uncle Alan and Auntie Joyce's side of the family. Although I too hadn't seen Joyce for quite some time, I have very fond memories of spending time with her, Uncle Alan and my cousins when we were all kids. It seemed a much simpler and innocent time, and Auntie Joyce was such a beautiful and loving person.
I am very sorry for your loss, but hopefully it will be eased by thinking of all the beautiful times you spent together with your dear mother.
Love and best wishes in this time of sorrow.

I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a sweet and kind lady and I will always remember her for that beautiful smile that she always displayed. I always admired her tireless energy- nothing ever seemed to slow her down.
I think your mother's greatest legacy will be in the wonderful children she raised. She was so very proud of all of you.
She was always quick to start a conversation and I will miss her wisdom and great stories of times gone by.
I hope that you will find the inner strength to get you through this sad and difficult time. You have my very deepest and sincere sympathy.

I will always remember how she welcomed myself and my son into her family event though the marriage didnt work she still considered me family
My son adored her and she always had love to give
Yours In Sympathy,
Sandy and Zach
