With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Joyce Rost-Baker, who left this world on October 2nd, 2025 at the age of 81.
Joyce was a feisty, fiercely loving woman whose strength, humor, and unwavering dedication to her family defined her life. She now joins her beloved husband, James Baker, who preceded her in death, as well as two of her cherished children who have been waiting to welcome her home.
Born in 1944, Joyce lived a life filled with grit, grace, and boundless love. She raised six children with passion and pride, each one a testament to her resilience and heart. Though she has now been reunited with two, her legacy continues through the four children who survive her and carry her spirit forward in all they do.
Joyce was also a proud grandmother of 11, each one held close to her heart.
Those who knew Joyce will remember her as strong-willed and quick-witted - never afraid to speak her mind, always ready with a comeback, and deeply loyal to those she loved.
While our world is a little quieter without her, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace, reunited with the loved ones she missed so dearly.
A celebration of Joyce's life will be announced by the family, where friends and family will gather to share memories, laughter, and tears as we honor the remarkable woman she was.
Rest easy, Joyce. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
