Joyce Marie Zeiter

Joyce Marie Zeiter, known affectionately as Granny Pants, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, at the age of 82. She was born on September 23, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Kenneth and Bernadine Bisby. Joyce was a one-of-a-kind lady, a great friend, and the sweetest, kindest, and most fun-loving person. Her warm and caring nature made her an incredible matriarch of the family, and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her loved her dearly.

Joyce is survived by her loving children: Cary (Jackie), Greg (Lisa), Scott (Karla), and Kim (TBD). She is also survived by her siblings: Janice (Rudy), Randy (Carol), Wayne (Chris), and Barry (MaryAnn/Kiddo). Joyce will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren: Travis, Jessie, Carson, Sammie, Kasie, Justin, Megan, Orion, Austin, Sarah, Rhiannon, Tommy, Zarya, and Isabella, as well as her great-grandchildren: Jameson, Hadley, and Blake. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron Bisby and Larry Bisby.

An Open House is planned to celebrate Joyce's life on Thursday, December 21, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, with the 'Celebration of Life' ceremony beginning at 7:00pm. The event will be held at Encore Catering and Banquet Center, located at 21801 East 9 Mile Road, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48080.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to help with funeral expenses (Venmo: @KimNaglich, Zelle: 5862063880). Any surplus donations will be dedicated to supporting the 'American Cancer Society Relay for Life' in Joyce's name.

Joyce Marie Zeiter will be forever remembered for her love, kindness, and joyful spirit. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
