Felix Jaramillo, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away February 21, 2017, at the age of 87. Felix was born June 24, 1930 in Belen, New Mexico, then moved to Arizona in 1944.

Felix worked in several restaurants as a young man, perfecting his love for cooking. As an adult, Felix worked for Ray Lumber Co. and Shuck Components Systems for many years. In 1965 Felix and his former wife Betty opened what is now an institution on the west side of Phoenix, Popo's Fiesta Del Sol. It is his recipes that have pleased three generations of the community. His motto, "Mexican Food To Suit The American Taste". The Business is still thriving after 52 years. His other passion was his service to The Loyal Order of the Moose, in which he became the Governor of His Lodge, where he attained The North Moose. Felix flourished in The Fellowship, and Brotherhood of His Beloved Glendale Lodge.

Felix is survived by his beloved wife, Emma Jaramillo; Sons Joe and Michael Jaramillo, 15 Grandkids, 33 Great Grandkids and 16 Great- Great Grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his sons Johnny and David Jaramillo.

Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home-Maryvale Chapel, Tuesday, March 28 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m., with Rosary at 7:00pm.m. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2016, 10:00a.m. at Advantage Funeral Home-Maryvale Chapel, 6901 W. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85033. Burial will be at 11:30am on Wednesday March 29 at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. Please enter through Gate 7 on Oak street, off of 48th Street.
