Juan Gaitan Pesina, Sr.

Juan G. Pesina Sr., age 94, passed peacefully with his loved ones by his side on May 15, 2018. He was born on March 15, 1924 in Martindale, Texas. He lived a long and truly blessed life. In his younger life, he enjoyed watching sports events, boxing, basketball and baseball. He is preceded by his parents, Damian and Estanislada Pesina and his brother Gregory. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Francisca Pesina, and their family: Daughter Erma and husband Eddie Garcia and daughter Terry Navarro; son Juan Pesina Jr. and wife Henrietta and son Albert Pesina. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jennifer (husband Phillip), Michael, Nicole (husband Gualberto), Alyssa (husband Matthew) and Mercedes along with nine great-grandchildren and four nephews and four nieces who reside in Ohio.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Albert Pesina for providing primary care for their dad throughout all these years.
A viewing will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at Trevino Funeral Home at 226 Cupples Rd followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. A brief Prayer will take place on Monday, May 21st, 2018 at 10:00am at Trevino Funeral Home followed by his burial at San Fernando Cemetery # 2.
