JUAN VASQUEZ
McAllen - Juan Vasquez, 83, entered eternal rest Friday, December 1, 2023, at Heritage Lakes Senior Living Community in Pflugerville.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria “Maruca” Vasquez; daughter, Imelda Gould; his parents, Rumaldo Vasquez and Baudelia Quesada Vasquez; and several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Vasquez is survived by his son, Juan Xavier (Carol) Vasquez; three grandchildren, Armando Xavier Vasquez, Nicolas Alexander Vasquez, Zachary Adam Vasquez; and a sister, Lupita (Mel) Villarreal.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7473 of Elsa.
