Juanita R. Billings-Renz

Juanita R. Billings-Renz, age 90, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday at her home. Born in Pendleton, Indiana, she came to this area in 1990 from Glens Falls, New York. A retired stenographic supervisor for Finch, Pruyn of Glens Falls, Mrs. Billings-Renz was a member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, where she was active with the Priscilla Circle. She was also a member of the Bert Fish Medical Center Auxiliary, working in the emergency department for 10 years, a volunteer with the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce, and secretary for the Fairgreen Homeowners Association. Survivors include a son, William "Bill" Totzkay of New Boston, Michigan; two granddaughters, Deborah Totzkay of Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, Kimberly Whale of Rockwood, Michigan; and her loving companion of 17 years, John Sandberg of New Smyrna Beach. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with Chaplain Mark Spivey, Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
