Juanita Yolanda Loffelbein

Juanita Yolanda Loffelbein passed away at the age of 90 on September 16, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on May 16, 1935, Juanita was a cherished member of her community and a beacon of warmth and support to everyone around her.

Juanita dedicated her life to her family and her work. She was a proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and spent many years as an office assistant at Oak View Elementary, enriching the lives of staff and students alike. Her primary role, however, was that of a homemaker, a job she performed with endless love and dedication.

Beyond her professional and familial duties, Juanita had a rich personal life filled with diverse interests. She was an avid player of Scrabble and enjoyed various crafts including puzzles, stained glass, and toll painting. Her social calendar was often marked with lunch dates with friends. Alongside her beloved husband, Arnold, she relished traveling, gold panning, and boating, embracing every adventure life offered.

Juanita was the matriarch of a large and loving family. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Sanchez (Larry), Janette Mahoney, Teresa Suegav (Dan), and Lisa Cox; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years Arnold Loffelbein; parents Jennie Moreno and Manuel Alvarez; her sister, Delores Espinoza (Alex); and her great-grandson, Elijah White.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA. A graveside interment will follow. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Loffelbein Home after the service for a potluck. Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite memory and a dish or refreshment to share.

Juanita's life was a testament to her kindness, resilience, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
