On loan to Mr. Arthur Lee Smith and Doris F. Smith on February 9, 1951.
Married to Sammie Lee Magee for 46 years until death did them part on July 6, 2021.
Juanita was a wife, mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and Awesome friend.
Juanita was faithful member of Faith Community Fellowship for 45+ years under the leadership of the late Elder Donald Anderson now presiding under the leadership of Pastor Lester Hughes & Pastor Jo Mary Hughes.
Juanita loved doing hair, but her first love was MUSIC, playing her organ gave her great peace and joy. She enjoyed learning new songs, coming to rehearsal and definitely playing for the congregation.
Juanita's educational journey included Christ the King, CM&I, Mary Morrison, Brinkley, later obtaining her GED.
Juanita was gainfully employed at General Motors for 10 years, she also worked at JPS driving school buses while going to school to obtain her Cosmetologist license and proceeded on to be her own entrepenuer.
On this meaningful day and always we remember with love to cherish the memories those who preceded her. Husband, Sammie Lee Magee, Son-Ronnie Derae Smith, Father-Arthue Lee Smith, Stepmother-Babelyn Keeler Smith, Grandmothers-Minnie B. Harris and C. Bell Lewis Uncles- Abe Fulgham, Willie Fulgham, Andrew Harrison Aunts- Beulah Fulgham, Mary Armstrong and Martha Ann Fulgham.
Juanita leaves to mourn her memories Mother- Doris F. Swan (Mamo) Dad- Henry Lee Swan (Papa)- Jackson, MS, Grandsons Wysouri Smith Las Vega, NV. Dreshun Jordan- Jackson, MS. Jalen Jordan- Abilene, TX- Ronnie Derae Smith, II- Jackson, MS. Children by Marriage- Pastor Darryl (Debbie) Magee, Sharol Magee, Harold Magee (Jackson, MS) and Carol Magee Franklin (Atlanta, GA). Siblings... Brothers- Arthur L. Smith (Brandon, MS) and Mario Swan (Byram, MS), Sisters- Angela F. Braden (Clifton) Atlanta, GA and Shavodka S. Penquite (Michael) Dallas, TX. Nieces Amy Flemings, Charae Braden, Laura Smith, Darlechia Swan-Wilson, Dawn Smith Nephews-Cedric Braden, Corey Braden, Artis Smith, Harley Smith, Aunt Mary L. Harris, Alfred Ray Harris, John Harris- Los Angeles, Cailf. A host of great nieces and nephews and cousins.
