Judd FELDMAN Obituary
Tragically in Pemberton, B.C., on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 doing what he loved to do. Devoted father of Hunter. Beloved son of Sandy Kivenko (Norman Stein), and Peter Feldman. Cherished brother and brother-in- law of Lee Feldman and Yukiko Taniguchi. Sadly mourned and fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral service and burial in Pemberton, British Columbia. Contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

Judd, you will always be remembered as a proud father to Hunter,a caring compassionate and hard working man who would do anything for anyone.He was a great teammate and human being, we should all strive to be a kind as he was,I was fortunate to have known you for as long as I did, we will miss you.

Judd was a wonderful person who often spoke of Hunter and his family. Judd always contemplated and spoke of both traditions and the roads-less-traveled that he loved so much. He and I were the only gringos that passed every minute of winter from November until May in Mexico, so I knew him well. I can attest to the fact that he spent the last six months of his life about as happy as a man can be, living in a wonderful, sunny, paradise surrounded by his many Mexican amigos and migratory flying friends visiting from every continent. Many tears have fallen around the world, and he will be missed.
Since antiquity the Monarch butterflies (that migrate annually from Canada to exactly the place where Judd lived in Mexico) have been revered as embodying the souls of the deceased. Because butterflies don't live very long, it takes four generations every year to complete the migration. The metamorphosis from being a crawling caterpillar to a butterfly that makes a two thousand mile journey is a miraculous story and inspiration. I'll think of Judd every time I share thermals at cloudbase with beautiful fluttering butterflies as we savor our beautiful fleeting lives-just as Judd did. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
