Age 66, of Thornburg, on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Beloved wife of Terry Gill; loving mother of Terence A. Gill, Paul G. (Kathy) Gill, Amy M. (Brian) Fagan, Katie L. (Dan) Knause and the late Bryan J. Gill; grandmother of eight grandchildren; sister of Keith Nanz, Rev. John "Jack" Nanz, Joyce Sampogna, and Janice Robbins. Friends welcome Thursday 2-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SVC., 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at SS. Simon and Jude Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Pittsburgh.

I am so sadddened to hear about Judy. I had the pleasure of working with her at Corporate Investigations, doing background checks, and then remaining friends for "girls night out" many times. She had a great sense of humor, common sense and loved life. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family....Linda Levitt

To all the Gill and Nanz Families,
My heart is aching so much for each of you as you are going through the motions of your loss of Judy at Mass today. Believe me I am there in spirit. I could not get home in time for the funeral but trust I would of been. Judy has been a friend for 60 years. I can truly say she is hugging all the angels now and is now an angel herself to each of you. Trust God ....she did her work on earth and now God has more plans for her in heaven. We have always admired Judy. I did as a child when she came to my house and as a wife and mother and grandmother. She was the best in all ways. How lucky you were to have her. I always called the Nanz and Gill families the ideal families. My heart is aching as well. I will truly miss her and my prayers are with you. She rated # 1 in the class of 62 in my book.
