Judith "Judy" Ann Best Taylor, age 79, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Born in Buncombe County, NC on August 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Bishop Best and Merla Watts Best.

Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Harvey "Artie" Taylor of Enterprise, FL; daughter, Michelle "Shelly" Taylor Robbins and husband, Dena, of Sharpsburg. She is also survived by grandsons, Patrick Robbins and wife, Marsha, and Steven Robbins and wife, Heather, both of Sharpsburg; great-grandchildren, Garland Robbins, Hollie Robbins, Gatlin Robbins; sisters, Barbara Smith of Winterpark, FL, and Sylvia Boswell of Florence, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was raised and lived in Rocky Mount most of her life. She retired after 30 years of service as a bookkeeper with Robinson Heating & Air. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her, but her loving spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Allen Mills officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

The family would like to say a special thank you the staff at Spring Arbor for their care and dedication to Judy and their friendship to the family over the last few months.
