I know Judy from wheelchair rugby in the very early years in Ottawa
Her joy of live was unlimited.

The only thing larger was her smile.

Eron and family
Our deepest sympathies on Judith's passing. I only met her once in person, but through Teri's updates I heard so much about your family and was so impressed by all that she has done. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To the Zelman Family:

"Standing upon the seashore we see a magnificent sailing ship in the morning breeze as she starts for the blue ocean. At length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Someone says: "There, she is gone."

"Gone where?"

Gone from our sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left our side and she is able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in us, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at our side says: "There she is gone", there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout "Here she comes!" .......Anonymous

Judith, thank you for sharing your life with us. You will be fondly remembered.

Dear Peggy and family,
How shocked I was to see the notice in the paper! We are currently renovating the basement and of course class pics came up just recently and there she was!!! It made the news even more sad. What fun we had with the kids!! and what a great help she was to all!!! She taught many things to my students and me, including patience, tolerance and determination. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you.

For the Family;
My deepest sympathy is with you at this time. Judy was a wonderful role model in Guiding. She was wonderful with the girls and lived by "Guides honour is to be trusted and loyal is she". Thank you Judy for giving so much of yourself to the Guiding Movement.
Judy you will be missed.

Eron
and Family,
It was a great shock to find out that Judy had passed away. I had the
privilege of being her throws coach for several years. She wasn’t just
a talented athlete. She brought strength, determination
as well as fun to every practice. I greatly valued the friendship we
developed. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathies to all of her
family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Judy was the most balanced person I ever met, and one of the most capable. She accepted people for who they were, and was a constant, and loving presence in the world. I was always in awe of how much she accomplished and how modest and 'even keeled' she was about it all. She was quite simply one of the best people I ever met.
