Judy Bates Rogers

Judy was a kind, loving, and funny friend. She was our e-mail communication prayer person. When she first started sending the e-mail prayer list she would pray short sweet prayers, but over the last several years her prayers came straight from God's heart. We at First Baptist Sunday School will miss her prayers. I will miss her funny dry wit. She could make you laugh so hard. Judy, I'm so glad God put you in my life. We will be praying for each one of your family members, that God will give you comfort when you need it most. We will be there if you need us.

I will always remember Judy's laugh. Her laugh made me laugh. She was generally very quiet except at our annual Sunday School Christmas socials. On those occasions we sometimes had White Elephant parties. That is when Judy was no longer the reserved, self-effacing lady of the class. Instead she would jump in and aggressively go after whatever it was that she wanted. This was a whole new side of Judy we rarely saw but oh, so loved and enjoyed. She will be missed for a very long time.

My deepest sympathies go out to the family for your loss. Judy was such a beautiful soul and loved by many. My heart goes out to you all as a family. I loved her and Earnest as well. May God's Peace be with you.

My prayers go out to all of Judy's family. She was such a fun person; smile was always on her face in Sunday School. It did not seem quite the same with her chair vacant this morning. We will miss her so much but know that we will see her again one day.

Sorry to hear about your Mother. She was a kind lady and almost everytime I would to town I would see Mrs. Judy. Yall are in my thoughts and prayers.
