Judy Kennedy Obituary
Judy is survived by her husband, Donald Kennedy of Murphy, TX; their two daughters, Kristi Hinshaw & her husband Bill of Murphy, TX and Lori Wilburn & her husband Rob of San Antonio, TX; her siblings, Charles Arnold of Marietta, GA, Newton Arnold of Texarkana, AR, Nancy Banks of Texarkana, TX, Margarette Smith of Heber Springs, AR and Carolyn Carter of Longview, TX. Known to her family as "Nana," Judy had 5 wonderful grandchildren: Meredith, Audrey & Hannah Hinshaw, and Caden & Kennedy Wilburn.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas Charles (T.C.) and Doris Arnold of Texarkana, AR, and her brother Kenneth Arnold of Texarkana, AR.
Judy fought valiantly for three years against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy before leaving this life. Before her illness, Judy lived a life of sacrifice in Christian ministry, serving as a pastor's wife for 15 years in East Texas and Central Arkansas. She will best be remembered by her academic endeavors and as a kind and gentle person.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at East Funeral Home - Downtown from 4 to 6 p.m. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

Don, Annie and I are so sorry to hear the news but we know we will all see Judy again in Heaven. May God comfort your soul and bring comfort to the family. We love you and loved her a lot. Larry and I have such wonderful memories of Judy. We remember spending the night when Larry had to sing at your church. We remember playing games until late in the evening. We laughed a whole lot. Brian and Lauren remember Judy also. They were hurt to learn she was gone. Our family tried to visit her a couple months ago and our gps did not have that address. We wish we could have seen her before she went on to be with the Lord.
We will forever cherish all the good times and the wonderful peach aroma we experienced when we walked into her home. WE WILL NEVER FORGET OUR JUDY. Love from the Bell Family to Don, Lori, Kristi and families.

Danny & I just heard the sad news about Judy. Our hearts are heavy and causes us to remember all the wonderful times we had with you and Judy when you were our pastor and friend for many years.
