Judy Kay McGlothlin, 65, wife of Gary M. McGlothlin, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born September 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Julius Estes and Catherine Lowry Carroll. She had worked for the Kentucky State Department of Disability and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed crocheting, reading, going on cruises, and shopping.
Survivors other than her husband include one son Jason (Jannesy) Estes of Nicholasville, one daughter Lindsey Williams of Harrodsburg, five grandchildren: Madelyn Hoskins, Christopher Estes, Triston Yazell, Derrick Yazell, and Xavier Estes; several nieces and nephews and her Great Pyrenees dog Guinevere.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Emma Brooke Williams, two brothers: Barry Lee Estes and John Allen Monroe, and one sister Sheila Prather.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Hilary Claypoool officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Gary Lowry, Tim Lowry, Peter Larkin, Jimmy Gibson, David Gibson, and Jackie Satterly serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.
