Seville - Judy Peavy Raulerson, 79, who never met a stranger, died Monday afternoon, March 24, 2025, at Advent Health Deland.

She was born in Vienna Georgia and came to live in the Seville area 39 years ago coming from Deland. She worked at a law office and Miller Enterprises in Crescent City for several years and then went to work at St. Johns River Water Management in their law department and spent 17 years working with them. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Crescent City. In her spare time, she enjoyed exercising, often walking 4 miles per day. She also enjoyed membership of the Wine Club in Pierson, traveling and especially cruises.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Ruth Peavy, and daughter, Jennie Lynn McGough

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William D. "Danny" Raulerson of Seville; daughters, Julie (Bobby) McCook of Chester, Georgia; Rene� (Randy) Cromwell of Deland, Kim (Bill) Underhill of Charlotte, North Carolina; Sister, Martha Belavance of Dawson, Georgia; 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter.

Judy's family will welcome guests at the First Baptist Church of Crescent City at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 31, 2025, for visitation and viewing followed by services beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. David Shull officiating, assisted by Steve Peavy who will deliver her eulogy. Burial will follow in Seville Cemetery.

Mrs. Raulerson's family is honored to have Will Raulerson, Grant Raulerson, Noah Rutherford, Randy Cromwell, Bobby McCook, Jeff Peavy, and Billy Underhill serve as Pallbearers. All were very special to Mrs. Raulerson.

Floral tributes are gratefully accepted and those that wish may donate to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Crescent City.
