Judy Rohlfs

West Jefferson resident Judy A. Rohlfs, 66, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2009, at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. A celebration of Judy's life will follow at Woodland Hills Funeral Home. Memorials are preferred to Blue Earth/Nicollet County Humane Society, (BENCHS). Judy was born March 15, 1943, in Glendale, CA, to Harry F. and Francile G. Jorgensen. She was a graduate of Mankato High School and attended Mankato State University. Judy worked at Bretts Department and Specialty Stores for 31 years and later for the Accounts Payable Department with Taylor Corporation. She loved spending time with family, friends and her cats. Judy also enjoyed gardening, cooking (especially baking Christmas cookies) and spending time at the lake. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Mankato Business and Professional Women's Club. Judy is survived by her aunt and uncle, Marlys and Lyle Jorgensen of Mankato; special friend, Donna Strand of West Jefferson; several nieces and nephews, Oliver Rohlfs of Vancouver, B.C. Canada, Coleen Wright of Davidson, NC, Jill Rohlfs of Greenville, SC, Eric Rohlfs of Myrtle Beach, SC, Terry Burk of Stacy, MN and Kelly Wetoska of Glenville, IL; sister-in-laws, Linda Rohlfs of Denver, NC and Kristin Summerwill of Iowa City, IA.She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
