Judy Spohn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 21, 2018.
Judy Spohn

Redding, CA

sept. 8, 1943 - oct. 12, 2018

Born September 8, 1943 in Fall River Mills, CA. She passed away at her home in Redding on October 12, 2018 at the age of 75.

Judy grew up in Shingletown, CA, graduated from Enterprise High School in 1961 and was employed more than 30 years with Mercy Medical Center.

Judy was known for her hard work, dedication and her wonderful cooking. Judy's special dish she liked to make was her enchiladas; it took her all day to make the sauce from scratch.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wesley Spohn, two sisters, Janice Mecham and Mary Serventi, mother, Helen Applegate, and father, James Mecham.

Judy is survived by 2 children, daughter Susan Wagner, and son Wesley Spohn, 3 grandchildren, Elishia and Jennifer Davis, Brandon Miller, and 2 great-grandsons, Matt and Alex, all of Redding.

Because of her love of doing BBQ's, a BBQ Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11am - 19383 E. Niles Ln, Redding, CA.
