Judy C. (Finnane) York, 90, passed away at her home on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. She was born Jul. 29, 1936, in Antigo, WI, to Joseph and Ada (Puller) Arrowood. In 1953, Judy married William Finnane and he was tragically killed in the line of duty on Nov. 11, 1959. She would then meet and marry Lewis D. York on Jul. 1, 1961. He would precede her in death on Jan. 11, 2020. Judy was an LPN and worked in senior living centers.

Judy was a member of St. John Vianney Church. She loved her dogs and cats, cooking, hiking, traveling, and loved baseball and going to Brewers games. One of the highlights of her life was her trip to Jerusalem three years ago. She adored her family and loved spending time with them as well.

Judy is survived by her children: William (Judy) Finnane-York of Muskego, Michael (Vicki) Finnane-York of Ft. Atkinson, Jamie (Jeffrey) Krause of Tichigan, Stephanie (Milo Bunda) York of New Berlin, and Amy York of Oconomowoc; her 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her husbands William and Lewis; 2 sons: Patrick and Daniel Finnane-York; grandson Matthew York; and siblings: Dick, Mildred, Joanne, Alice, and Betty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of mass at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH. Memorials in Judy's name can be made to Southern Wisconsin Humane Society.
