Jules Henry Cadet, 83, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Agawam, Massachusetts. He was the devoted husband of Celeste (Roseme) Cadet.

Born on May 20, 1941, in Petit Goave, Haiti, Jules was the son of the late Jules Cadet and Melanie Augustin. In his early years, he worked as a tailor and later pursued a career in import and export. After moving to the United States in the 1990s, he worked as a line cook in various restaurants and hotels.

Jules was a dedicated servant of Jehovah and held firmly to the hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. He faced illness with courage and resilience, always maintaining a joyful spirit that uplifted those around him.

In addition to his wife, Celeste, Jules is survived by his daughter, Madeleine E Smith; his grandchildren, Camille and Nathaniel Smith; his younger brother, Gerard Cadet; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Samuel Cadet; and his sisters, Promene Cadet and Dieudonne Cadet.

A memorial service will be held on June 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 117 Southwick Rd., Westfield, MA 01085. A gathering for family and friends will follow at 3:00 PM at Marlee's Bar and Grill, 750 Boston Rd., Springfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jules' memory may be made to the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses or through JW.org.

Jules leaves behind a legacy of faith, joy, and laughter. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
