Julia Haddad Obituary
Visitation is Sunday, April 27th, 5-8 pm at Harding Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home. Burial is Monday, April 28th at 1 pm at Restlawn Memorial Park, 5858 Alps, followed by a Memorial Service at 3 pm at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, officiated by the Rev. Bill Cobb and the Rev. Ron Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers include Julia's siblings, Darlene Esper, Mrs. Alicia Aboud, Leo Haddad, Norman Haddad, Brian Haddad, Billy Haddad, Joyce Haddad, Deborah Burt, Jacob Fourzan and Kevin Shannon. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Clement's or Hospice of El Paso.
Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Harding-Orr, El Paso, TX.

To all the family; It is such a pleasure to think back on memories of your family, and of course your Mom was at it's heart. She was a force of nature, and blessed all with whom she came into contact. Your family is so well remembered by all your old friends, including us. She'll always be with you!

Maynard, Bunny, Judy, Maggie, Della and Johnny,
What can I say other than you have my sincerest sympathy! My memories are so full of her huge personality, amazing laugh and big, big heart. She was such a special friend to Willie and Betty, too. It's funny to think about how many meals we shared at each of our homes and tender to remember Christmas decorating family parties for so many years. There's also remembering the terror I felt moving through her living room on Mesa with elders requiring I greet each on respectfully.
Sending my love and hope you are able to laugh so hard that you come to tears. She loved you so much!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs.Haddad was always not only gracious, but welcoming to all of us who hung out at the house on Mesa St. and at St Clement. I lost my mom in February -- both great ladies and role models. My heart goes out to your family.

The Haddad family
Your entire family has been an integral part of the Ramsey family for many, many years. From car washes to bowling to basketball--I'm sure at least fifty years of fun went with the time we spent together. I loved Julia and her love of life. She has passed her pasion on to her wonderful children.

Dearest Aunt Julie,
I speak to your spirit when I say, thank you, for the example that you were to me, and to many, thank you for your spirit, your zest, your energy, your zeal, your generosity to all of us, your friendship to our family through all the years.
I always looked up to you for your strength of mind and of purpose, your clarity, your focus, your honesty.
Something you said in my early 20s inspired me for two decades, a single sentence resonated in my air whenever I hit a challenge or difficulty, and your voice kept moving me along.
When I saw you in October of 2010, once again, one sentence you gave stayed with me, advice, without your knowing it; again, exhibiting your strength and focus, you advised, "If you're going to do something, just do it." What clarity of purpose. I look to it now. I look to your strength and honesty to guide me, and spirit me still.
I will always recall you and Della and Judy, or the entire family, or sometimes only you, parking your car at an angle, coming up the steps, to visit us during holidays or evenings together or simply for a visit. Whenever you alighted our steps, you brought in light and energy.
If it's not too much to say I love and adore you, then I say it to you, and I hold you up as one who has, without knowing it yourself, been an bright and burning example to me of so much I want and wanted to be.
You are singular, and no one will come close to being Julie Haddad. The one and only, bold, and bright, and beautiful, and real. You live and will live in our memories and hearts forever.
Please know that the entire Salim Haddad family loves the entire Najib Haddad family. My heart is with all the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, I ask the Lord to strengthen your hearts and spirits at this tender and historic time. A matriarch has left us, a pathmaker, a leader, a giver, a light.
This is the end of an era, she certainly left her mark on us, and we honor her memory through the sadness of her loss. But because we knew her, we have all gained. We were blessed, always, be her electric field of energy. Wow, for lack of better words.
Memory Eternal, and thank you, again, for your strength and your presence in all our lives. Never to be forgotten. Always to be honored.
Praying for the family's strength and courage at this time, we weep with you, and we rejoice with you, as our hope is in Christ, whose promise is to reunite us in Eternal Life.
