Julia T. Kasprzak

Julia T. Kasprzak, age 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital Lewiston, NY, after a brief illness. Born April 12, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Feliksa (Szostak) Legerski. She was married to the late Stanley J. Kasprzak, Sr. for over 60 years. Surviving are her son, John (Carolyn) Kasprzak of Fairview Park, OH; daughter-in-law, Karen (late Stanley Kasprzak, Jr.) of Sandy, UT; grandchildren, Brian Kasprzak, Parma, OH; Carla (Luis) Menendez Sterling Heights, MI, Dennis Kasprzak, Roy, UT, Jonathan Kasprzak, Sandy, UT, Scott (Theresa) Little, Sandy, UT and Lisa Montellano (Conrad), Sandy, UT; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Mitchell, Mason, Lauren, Kiana, Sephrina, Veronica, Shane, Jackson, William, Annie and Mila. In addition she is also survived by nieces, Helen (Rodney) Konik and Carol (Kevin) McGovern; great nephews, John, Paul and Erik Konik; and her special "sister", Elaine DeFazio. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her two sons, Stanley, Jr. and Dennis Kasprzak; as well as her sister Helen Krawczyk Rusin.As a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls Julia was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, crocheting, gardening, playing cards and she was active at the Duke Senior Center. She was also involved in the Amvets Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th. Sts. with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating.
