Julia (Brown) McBrayer, of Springfield Township, passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2025, in Akron, Ohio. Born on December 23, 1959, in Akron, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Bernice Brown.

Julia's life was marked by her deep devotion to family and her generous spirit. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 22 years, Tom McBrayer; her only child, Michael Brown, and his wife Emily (Delahoyde) Brown; and her cherished granddaughter, Keely Brown. Julia found immense joy in being a grandmother and delighted in every opportunity to spoil Keely with love and attention.

A lifelong resident of the Akron area, Julia cultivated a life rooted in care and connection. She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in tending to her flowers. Her garden was not just a place of beauty but also a reflection of her nurturing nature. Julia also enjoyed taking road trips with Tom and their family-simple adventures that created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

Those who knew Julia will remember her as someone always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether it was offering support during difficult times or simply being present when needed most, she touched many lives with her kindness and compassion.

Julia will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
