Miss Scott was my Junior high teacher at Mendon-Union. She made sure that we knew of her love of Washington DC! She ran a tight ship in class but it was so easy to get her off track. She told us about her Miss Lake Festival run and what it was like there. We learned so much from her. I am thankful that our paths crossed.

I remember well a year ago when we had lunch at Boardwalk Grill. I wanted a picture of all of us in front of the tugboat. To get there we had steps. Four guys playing shuffleboard came to the rescue! They literally lifted Julie in her wheelchair and carried her down the steps. I kept thinking please don’t drop her. Julie laughed the entire time!! There was never a full moment when out with Julie! Enjoy heaven my friend!

I will never forget the Friday evening we decided to go to St Henry park concert to listen to Elvis. I laugh every time I think of you coming up that hill in your speedy chair about falling over several times. I will miss you my dear friend.
