It is with hearts full of love that the family of Julia Mary Stephen (nee. Yando) announces her passing at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2022 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Lloyd Stephen. Cherished mother to Shirley (Rick Bell), †Cathy (Tony Paone) and Audrey (Joe Kelly). Loving grandmother of Tracy (Jeff Pereira), Shannon Bell (Jay Boles), Miles (Emily) Tuthill, Caitlin (Tyler Warren), Megan (Brandon Moody), Becky Ricard (Jay Snider) and Joey Kelly. Doting great-grandmother to Rylie, Sierra, Oakland, Hudson, Autumn, Barrick, Brooke and Mitchell. Julia was the dear sister of Betty (Frank Kozma), Louis (Dorothy) Yando and Melvina (Con Unger) and sister in-law of Buzzy Bossert, Eric Stanley, George Payne, Mabel Yando and Don Steele. Julia will be fondly remembered by her dear friend Rodger Tuthill. Julia is predeceased by her first husband George and her parents George and Mary Yando. Also predeceased by her siblings Ann Bossert, Helen Stanley, Steve Yando, Frank Yando, Barbara Steele, Margaret Payne George Yando, Helen Yando, Mary Yando. Also predeceased by her parents in-law Roy and Violet Stephens, siblings in-law Ethel (Ross) Dell and James Stephen. Friends were invited to call at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. A private family Inurnment was held on Saturday February 26, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery. In memory of Julia, donations to the Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Friends are invited to send condolences and sign the Book of Memories at www.ballardminorfh.ca
