Julia Susan Ellis Obituary
Julia enjoyed traveling, spending time with her friends, gardening, exercise class, walking with Lily (her guardian angel) and giving the neighborhood dogs cookies. She was known as the cookie lady.
Julia was supervisor for Reproduction and Document Control at Raytheon and retired after 31 years.
In addition to her husband and parents, Julia was predeceased by her sister Jo-Ann Horst and brother Vincent Scacciotti.
She is survived by her nephew Richard Horst, niece Vikki McComiskey and her husband Tom and their daughters Rachel, Emily and Sarah. Also, nieces Jessica Jagels and her husband Steven and their son Nicholas and Tania Espitia and her husband Dr. Leonardo Espitia and their daughters Sara and Sofia. She also leaves friends Rhonda and Richard Landry who have always been very close along with their son Michael, daughter Mallory and little Ava. She also leaves Dr. Rabaut, who Julia was grateful for helping all of her furry friends.
Relatives and friends are invited for visiting hours on Monday, July 21st from 10:00AM-12:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Great Road, Maynard.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to All Dog Rescue PO Box 2072 Natick, MA 01760.

I miss my dear friend she called me almost every day to ask how I was no matter how she was feeling. I still wait for those phone calls or come home and check to find there is no voice message. Sue would ask me to bring my dog Chloe to play with Lily. Chloe would have a great time running around Sue's backyard with Lily. Sue spent so much time in her yard, that was her pride and joy and always worked harder than she should have to keep it as beautiful as it was. We had a lot of fun times especially during our Raytheon days and kept our friendship after we both retired. I will miss my wonderful caring friend.
