Julia Wilinski Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 5, 2024.
Julia Ann Wilinski (known by most as Julie) of Richland Hills, Texas passed away surrounded by her husband and two children on Thursday, July 25th, 2024. She was born on March 1st, 1964 and was 60 years of age.

There are not enough words in the universe to sum up the vibrant and loving life that Julie led. Julie had a fiery soul from the start - she was passionate, opinionated, loving, and lively. All attributes that were on par with the career path she chose to embark on. Julie attended The University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to work as a Registered Nurse for 25 years caring for others from all walks of life.

Outside of professional work, Julie had multiple other loves in life. She loved gardening, some days she would spend so much time in the flower bed she would return inside with a completely different complexion. She loved cooking and had a natural talent in the kitchen, one of those natural talents all of us non-cooking people strived to inherit. One of her favorite dishes to make was Chicken and Wine, something she would frequently make around the holidays. Julie also loved vacationing, she was a free spirit and loved to visit beautiful places. Some of her favorite excursions included exploring the castles in Ireland, cruising with her best friends out at sea, and enjoying the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. Speaking of the Rocky Mountains, Julie was an avid skier, and her passion for it flowed through to her family. Julie also loved to relax and indulge in her favorite TV shows on slower days. While she had many favorites, recently she loved to watch The Food Network (circling back to her passion for cooking) and Project Runway. Julie had a passion for animals, her cats specifically. She found deep companionship within her four cats - Arthur, Dottie, Ozzy, and Izzy. However, if there's one thing Julie loved most in life, it was spending time with her loved ones - something she would never say no to, regardless of the time or day.

Julie was a devoted wife to her husband, Greg Crowley (humorously nicknamed by Julie as "Jerry"). She was a loving mother to her children, Ryan Wilinski (nicknamed by Julie as "Ry") and Shelby Wilinski (nicknamed by Julie as "Belby" or "Bell Bell"). She was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Greyson Wilinski, Lylah Wilinski, and Jace Ellett. She is further survived by her brother, Lewis Marion and her father, George Marion. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Marion.

Julie will be deeply missed by so many people, a true testament to the number of lives she touched throughout her 60 years on Earth. We know she will shine brightly in every light of life, and we will carry her in our hearts and souls for eternity.

The family of Julie invites those who knew and loved Julie to a Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the following location -

Crossroads of Arlington

3221 West Pioneer Parkway

She was constantly making us laugh. My favorite memories growing up are at Shelby´s house. Either grandpa´s or Julie´s. We were always messing with eachother, saying ridiculous things and just enjoying each others company
