Julian and I ride shared back and forth to LA for about two years and one day, while he was driving, he shared that his vision in one of his eyes was bad. I thought you've got to be kidding this traffic is always CRAZY! From then on I drove. You got to love him, he certainly had a sense of humor!

My sweet Uncle, always was overjoyed to see you or hear from you, Greetings of him calling everyone `Sugar´ in his sweet southern drawl. One of the most giving human beings I´ve ever known.

Julian was a calm and gentle soul. I remember the sweet smell of pipe tobacco whenever he was around. I had known him for 40 years as a wise elder who was always available to give sound advice. He was a straight shooter and a steady presence when the waters were choppy-a rarity today. Much love, Julian. Rest easy. I hope you're smoking your pipe with the best of them.

Papa was my great grandpa and I loved that he would always pick me up from school and we´d go share McDonald´s. I am going to miss him so much but I know he is with my gramies. Alex
