Julie Allred Obituary
Julie grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and graduated from Newburyport High School before attending Northern Essex Community College, where she earned a degree in art. She spent her professional career as an administrative assistant, a role that benefited from her organizational skills and artistic flair.
A committed member of East Parish United Methodist Church, Julie's faith was an important aspect of her life. She was deeply involved in her community, serving as a Girl Scout leader and participating in various church activities. Julie's hobbies included bird watching, walking on the beach, and enjoying beach pizza. She relished her time vegging on the couch, watching Lifetime movies or episodes of Law and Order.
Julie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Terrie Seavey; brothers, Byron, Larry, and Lee; grandchildren, Sabrina and Damien; and great-grandchildren, Bradley, Benjamin, and Rowan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Annie Guy.
A wake to honor Julie's life will be held at East Parish United Methodist Church, located at 8 Lafayette Rd, Salisbury, MA, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Julie's life was a testament to her loving nature and her enduring passion for both people and the arts. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Julie was a wonderful childhood friend. She lived not far from me, we rode the school bus together. We reconnect at our 40 or maybe 45th reunion from class of 67 at Newburyport High. She was a dear friend and awesome person. RIP my friend.
