Julie Brelsford

Julie Brelsford, 78, of Troy, PA, and Stockton, NJ, passed away on March 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Brelsford, Sr.

She was born to parents Lawrence and Mary LoVerso on April 22, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY. As a child, she moved to New Jersey, living in Ringoes, Flemington, and Stockton. She also lived in Troy, PA. Julie was a talented seamstress and a devoted caretaker of her family and home. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, crafting, and DIY projects. She was also a dedicated member of her church.

Julie met her husband of 57 years in 1955 when she moved next door to his family farm. The two married in 1964 and had three children.

She is survived by her son, Harry Brelsford, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Jones, and her husband, Keith; daughter, Tara Schaufler, and her husband, Joe; as well as five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Julie was a loving mother and wife who always put her family first. She will be remembered for her kindness, as well as her inspiring strength and resilience.

In remembrance of Julie's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Olde Covert Church, 8698 Old State Road, Troy, PA 16947. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Details will be shared with friends and family once arrangements are finalized.
