I just met your dear Julie at W2W last fall, and was immediately struck by her gentle awesomeness. We last spoke at the Rogers' life celebration at the Met. I've also suffered recent losses, and she was a comfort to me. When we lose loved ones, while we're happy their pain's gone, we'll miss them, until we're reunited. With prayers and hugs, Sincerely,
Maddalena De Cristofaro- Slater

Julie I had very few encounters with you but every one I had was sweet. You were so creative when decorating for woman to women at the Met. I feel so privillaged to have served with you. Your kindness was contagious, your smile unforgettable. May the Lord bring healing to all in your family as your presence in this world will be greatly felt by them and all who had the privilege to know you. His is well pleased with you.
Love,
Maddalena, Matteo and Filippo Slater

Julie's life is a testimony to God's wonderful work in transforming her to be like Him. It was encouraging to see how God worked to bring light in the world through her obedience to Jesus. Love in Christ, Linda and Gabe McReynolds

Dear Peter, Graham and family, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Julie. Her servant heart was an inspiration to us all. Unfortunately, we are away and unable to attend the service, but our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the God of all comfort be a very present help for you during these difficult days.

She was remarkably caring and sympathique woman. In Rotary she was always ready to help in a project and projected a feeling of calm, caring support. She was taken from us far too soon. Condolences to her family and loved ones

We are saddened to hear of Julie's passing into glory, but grateful to have experienced a very small measure of her exuberant, loving nature. She was a very bright light. We are out of the country right now & wishing we could be there to share our condolences to each of you in person, but we are praying for each of you as you grieve this loss & pray that God will bring His peace to your hearts.

Sorry to hear of your loss Peter...Elizabeth, Graham, Ian, Mark and families.
Time has a way of going on and I lost touch. It has been a number of years. I have fond memories of when we were kids and teens together hanging out and participating in the same things. I pray that you have been blessed by Julie's life.
