Julie Paquin Obituary

Published by The Beverly Citizen from Dec. 29, 2016 to Jan. 12, 2017.
Julie Ann Paquin, 54, of Buckinghamshire and formerly of North Attleboro, MA died unexpectedly on Friday, December 23, 2016 at home. Born March 15, 1962 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of Robert H. Paquin of Naples, Fl, formerly of North Attleboro and Lenore J. (Quinn) Paquin of North Attleboro. She was a step-daughter of James E. Bound of North Attleboro and Marie Paquin of Naples, Fl. Julie was granddaughter of the late Leonard J. and Margaret Bernice (Spillane) Quinn. She is survived by her sisters: Jill E. (Paquin) Curreri and of Beverly and Leslie Paquin of North Attleboro; two brothers-in-law: Joseph J. Curreri of Beverly and Joseph Fontneau of North Attleboro; a nephew Robert James Paquin Curreri; aunts Brenda Quinn of North Attleboro and Beverly Rush of North Attleboro and many more; cousins: Leonard Dieterle of Franklin, Elizabeth Dieterle of North Attleboro, Lisa Gallagher of North Attleboro and many, many more. Julies also survived by her second family in England: Moire, Stewart and Callum Plain, Lisa and Nana Caddogan, George, Gillian, Joe and Charlie Simmons, Betty and Bob McEvoy, Evelyn Godoy, Peter and Kathy Beckett, Chris and Liz Comley and Mark and Dee Debenham. Julie was a 1984 graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston. She was the president of her class and was the commencement speaker at her graduation ceremony. She gave an eloquent and poignant speech which prompted many accolades. In 1986 she was hired by the then Director of EDS, Ross Perot, as an account manager. She had a very lengthy and illustrious career at EDS earning her many promotions and an eventual placement in the UK working alongside the UK Ministry of Defence. This position earned her a lifetime stay in the UK where she continued to work for EDS which eventually was bought by Hewlett Packard Enterprises, where she worked as a business development director until the time of her death. Julie was renowned at her job and revered by many both professionally and personally. Julie loved life, she loved to laugh and tell stories. She enjoyed music, concerts, going to the opera, eating at 5-star restaurants and traveling the world. Her favorite vacation by far was at the ocean in Cornwall, UK. But mostly Julie loved being with her friends and family. Services will be held privately with arrangements by Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. To sign an online guestbook for Julie, please visit www. sperry-mchoul.com.

I am so very sorry to hear that Julie passed away. We worked together for many years at EDS in the UK and became friends. We lost contact a number of years ago as a result of job changes and moving houses, etc. I always remember the laughs we had together during trips to the US. I am so sad that we never managed to catch up again.

Julie was an awesome friend -- she made you feel as if she was on your side and she had your back at all times, no matter what! She was a great listener and a wonderful advisor. She was caring, funny, direct, honest and unwaveringly loyal and kind. She inspired us to be our best. Julie was the kind of friend who was connected and present no matter the miles.

Everyone in my family was so so sad to learn of Julie's passing.

It will take a long time to process and accept that Julie is in heaven. I know how much I miss Julie already and cannot imagine how everyone in the Paquin family feels.

With the most sincere and heart felt prayers, sympathies and condolences from me and all of my family,
Joyce Lonergan
