Julio Quintero Obituary
He was born on June 3, 1948 in Armenia-Quindío, Colombia, South America and was a resident of Springfield for 29 years. He briefly lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey and also in Queens, NY. Prior to his retirement he was employed for five years at OMG Inc. in Agawam. Julio will be remembered as an amazing father, older brother and husband. You’ll be missed and will remain always in our hearts and never forgotten. “To our father thank you for giving us life; until we meet again we love you dad”
Julio is survived by his children, Dignory Quintero Gil, Cesar Augusto Quintero Gil, Carlos Alberto Quintero Gil, Jeanpierre Quintero Cardozo ; his siblings, Melida Gomez Quintero, Pedro Gomez Quintero, Alvaro Alba Quintero, William Alba Quintero, Consuelo Alba Quintero, Amparo Alba Quintero, Edgar Alba Quintero, Edward Alba Quintero, Liliana Alba Quintero; and grandchildren, Katalina Quintero Angel, Juan David Quintero Jimenez, Dylan Quintero Ortiz, Daniella Quintero Jimenez, Kaylee Quintero Ortiz. Calling hours are from 4:00PM – 8:00PM on Monday (Aug. 31, 2020) in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Those attending please remember social distancing and wear a mask. Funeral services will take place in Colombia. www.forastiere.com
