He is survived by his wife Gloria S. Rodriguez of Concepcion, TX.
Three sons Julio Rodriguez, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Norberto "Tito" Rodriguez (Celina) of Alice, TX, and Hector Rodriguez of Portland, TX.
Two Daughters Minerva Robinson (Brandon) of Big Thicket, TX and Rosario Farias of Katy, TX.
One Sister Francisca Pena (Avilio) of Concepcion, TX.
11 Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 3, 2024, at Alaniz Funeral Home in Falfurrias, TX. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 4, 2024, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Benavides, TX. A burial will follow at Benavides Cemetery.

Julio was a dear friend of ours, my brothers Lorenzo Garcia (+) and Rudy Garcia (+) knew him from school and maintained their friendship over the years. I got to know him in 2020 by visiting with him and Gloria with my brother Rudy. He soon became a close friend of my husband Rene and myself. He was so full of life and he loved to talk! He will be missed!

So sorry to hear about Julio's passing. My sister Sandra would sit with him at the Santa Gertrudes home football games. We last saw Julio at his house earlier this year. He was always happy and joking with us. Sorry for your loss.
