Julius Ciaramella

Julius "Charlamae" Ciaramella, 82, of Verona passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, N.J. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, N.J. Visiting is on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St., Montclair. Julius was born in Italy anhd emigrated to the U.S. at a young age. He was raised in Newark, N.J., and resided in Verona for the past 46 years. He was a retired governor inspector for PSE&G, where he worked for many years. Mr. Ciaramella is survived by his children, Samuel Ciaramella, Juliano Ciaramella, Rosemary Palmer, Phyllis Liggeri, Artie Ciaramella and Jacqueline Boccellari; his sisters, Elizabeth Sparaco and Dorothy D'Antuono; his grandchildren, Joe, Juliano, Tony, Alex, Mercedes, Frankie, Celeste, Anthony, Fileshia, Vanessa, Joseph, Gianna, Angelo, Michael, Carmine and Marcello, and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Angelina (nee Intili), in 2010; his brother, Tony Ciaramella, and a stepsister, Connie Teaser.
