Wow, I have never experienced loosing a truely close and inspirational friend. Sitting here I reflect on all of the afternoons we spent under the canpoy of the large oaks that surround the house, cutting the hedges after the spring showing of flowers, eating the fruits of the garden, going on trips to River Banks Zoo to view the Christmas exposition, meeting in Charleston for dinner at Roys' favorite resturant (Garibaldi on Market Street) and many Sunday lunches with Dorothy and Joy. Elizabeth and I will be forever greatful for the impact on life both Dorothy and Roy have given us. We lost Dorothy in February and now Roy, what a true loss it is. Their memory will live forever in our hearts and it goes without saying they will never be forgotten. Roy only wanted to be remembered as "a Good Man" and that doesn't even provide a start!
