Mr. Julius Spencer 'Mother Julius'--Born November 26, 1944 a native and resident of Mobile, AL departed this life on Thursday, January 6, 2005. He attended Central High School and served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Mr. Spencer attended Life Church and The Gospel Light House Deliverance Ministries, Inc. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Andrews; step father, Jim Kimble and one nephew, Joseph Dukes. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted mother, Addie Lee Kimble; one devoted sister, Demaris (Herman) Reed; two brothers, Willie (Tiffany) and Joseph Spencer; four nieces, Nicole (James) Hunt, Courtney Torrie, Zeporia (Shantavious) Mills of Lithonia, Ga, Arlando Torrie and Vernon Mitchell of Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends, two very devoted, Robert Moore and Brian. All Society Diva's are asked to participate in the Second Line with umbrellas in front of Elizah Powell Cooper's residence on Prichard Lane and Hwy. 45 to proceed by horse driven carriage to Gethsemane Cemetery, 800 Mobile St., Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Gospel Light House Prophetic Deliverance Ministries, Inc., 804 West Turner Rd., Prichard, AL with Apostle Cornelius Woods, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery. Sympathetic and professional services are by: MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 1302 St. Stephens Rd. Prichard, AL 36610

My Family's sincere condolences to the Spence Family.I grew-up around the way with Julius In Mobile. Julius was a wonderful, kind and nurturing person to all who knew him.He will be missed but his loving spirit and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
