June Harrison Palmer, 100, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Parkview Care Center in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on June 1, 1910 in Richmond, Indiana to Benjamin Wade Kelly and Olive Edith Harrison.

She was a member of Eastside Christian Church.

June was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and needlework.

June was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold A. "HAP" Palmer in 1996.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" Palmer and wife, Janet; son, Lawrence "Larry" Palmer and wife, Betty; grandchildren, Sharon Foust, Stacey Rhoads, Lisa Hoke, April Palmer, Joy Palmer; and six great grandchildren.

Service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., Evansville, IN with entombment at Oak Hill Mausoleum, officiated by Dr. Linda Parker. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 until service time.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Grace Baptist Church Food Pantry or your favorite charity.

Larry & Betty,
I am sorry for your loss. Your are so lucky to have had such wonderful parents and to have had your mother for so much of your life. I know that you made her proud, which all a child wants to do. You are in my prayers.
