I was shocked to hear of Justin's passing on Friday at a meeting. I didn't know him well but had been at a few meetings with him and he painted with a close friend of mine, John Garvey. I liked him immediately for his openess and sincere caring. I would like to offer my sincere sympathies and prayers for you and him and will never forget his warm smile. I pray he has found his creator with the same open arms he offered to others during his short stay here.

To the family of Justin Rick:
We are devastated by the loss of such a charming, caring, artistic and genuine real person. his smile and happy personality always lit up our home. Christina, Jack & Amy, I am so sorry to hear about Justin. I simply can't believe the news. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw him it has been so long. I will always have the memories though, of us all playing together when we were kids. I am so sorry I wasn't able to attend the funeral!! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

We are just beside ourselves and feel terrible about the loss of such a good hearted kid. We always used to see him at Romy's place and he always was so polite and friendly and good natured.

Kristine and Jack,
You were so thrilled when Justin was born. You must be devastated by the loss of your handsome, young son. I am so sorry. St. Paul says, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." 1 Corinthians: 13:12. I want to believe that someday we will understand all the unfathomable things that happen in this life. You have my deepest sympathy.

I just found out about Justin's passing and I'm really bummed out. He was my childhood friend back in Mound. His mom lived down the street from me and I spent so much time over at his house. We lost contact in the early 90's. I will always miss you.
