Justine Marie Cain, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in Livermore, CA at 34 years of age. She was born April 8, 1987, in Walnut Creek, CA to Curtis Lee Cain and Cheryl Lynn (Blake) Zuniga, formerly, Cain.
Justine suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of 11.5 months in 1988. Prior to her brain injury Justine was a beautiful happy baby who loved everyone and everything. Justine’s nickname was Justinie Weenie, and she was often lovingly called “weenie” by her family. Justine’s suffering has now ended, and her beautiful life has just begun.
Justine is preceded in death by her father, Curtis Lee Cain; grandfathers, Ernest Lee Cain and Stanley Melvin Blake; and grandmother, Joyce Arlene Cain. Justine is survived by her mother, Cheryl Lynn Zuniga and stepfather Joseph Edward Zuniga Sr. of Stockton, CA; her two loving sisters, Kayla (Cain) Webb of Sacramento CA, and Lauren Cain of Lodi; stepbrother, Joseph Edward Zuniga Jr.; grandmother, Earlene Dora Blake of Stockton, CA; Aunts Jill (Cain) and Daneen Johnson of Elk Grove, CA; Lucia Blake of Ione, CA; Cousins, Morgan (Blake) Simpson, Martin Blake of Ione, CA, and Natalie Clark of Escalon, CA.
Private services will be held for family and close friends.
