Justine Michaud Obituary
She was a LPN and nursing home administrator for 42 years at Resthaven Nursing Home and now Mountain Heights Health Care Facilities. She was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church. Justine was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Gus loved the outdoors, walking, skiing, fishing and especially time spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gerald Michaud of Old Town; three children, Sandra and David Cavanaugh of Milford, Vonnie and Brian Gould of Island Falls and Gerald "little Jerry" and Janet Michaud of Detroit; 10 grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Sarah, Mathew, Kayla, Cameron, Bethany, Brock, Alyssa, and Noah; three great-grandchildren, Teaghan , Jeremiah, and Gavin; one brother, Howard and Pam Glidden of Enfield; one sister, Ella and Bridge Astle of Stacyville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Father David Raymond celebrating. Interment will be at Patten Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Heights Health Care Facility, Patten, ME 04765.
