Jyoti Mehta Obituary
Jyoti Shah was born in Mumbai, India. She was raised there as well as in Rajkot, India.
She attended Shakuntala Jain Girls' High School as well as St. Xavier's College where she earned a BA in English Literature and a Masters in Linguistics.
She came to the USA in 1969 where she met and married Kirit Mehta.
Jyoti was a lively woman who was full of life. She was instrumental in the creation of her life long dream: Blueridge Films, Inc.

We all are very shocked to heard this unbelievable news. We are thinking of you Kiritfuva, Urvashi & Urvi, during this difficult time. She was JYOT for us and we will miss her a lot. Jyotiben was a wonderful human being. She has left her sweet memories etched on our hearts forever. She always asked about how our kids were doing and met them with so much love and affection. She was a big supporter of education. She always supported me with Jain activities and always asked if she could be of any help. She will be missed sorely among the Jains in Richmond area.
Our thoughts and prayers with the family in this difficult times. May God rest her soul in peace!!
