Missing and loving Kain as nearly one year without her has approached. One of my favorite things about her was her creativity and passion. She was always planning new projects, may it be sewing, drawing, or a new piercing. The grief and pain I feel from her loss has not wavered since the moment I found out she passed away. She is eternally alive in my heart. I would trade everything I have for just a moment with her again.

I met Kain years ago back in Texas, and we immediately clicked. I will always remember the times we would laugh til we couldn´t breathe. We would listen to Nascar Aloe and scream the lyrics in her little Honda civic at the time. She showed me nothing but true friendship . When I finally got my GED and got accepted to a university, Kain came to Texas to celebrate with me. The memories I have shared with Kain will never be forgotten.
Kain, I´m so happy I have a permanent matching piece of you tattoo on my ribs, now that "nascar" isn´t just a symbol of our friendship and love for Nascar, yet a permanent memory of you that makes me look back and smile. Your amazing friendship, kindness, and personality will never be forgotten.

I met Kain while at work at the Denver Paramedics, and had the pleasure of having her on my ambulance while she was in training. Although this period was brief, it was clear she had such a kind soul, and I'm glad I was able to work alongside her. She cared deeply about her service to others, and carried a non-judgemental attitude that we should all do our best to emulate. I remember telling other medics just how impressed I was with her, and how I really believed we were lucky to have had her join the agency.
I will certainly always remember her kindness and positive attitude in my own life, both personally and professionally. It is people like Kain that should inspire us all.

Kain was the sweetest and brightest young lady I never got to meet. I only heard of her acts of kindness, bravery, friendship and authenticity by ways of my daughter, Hannah. I wish I could have given you a bear hug and made you some of my famous meatballs, but we will save that for another time. You are loved Kain and will not be forgotten.

Kain was truly the most beautiful and angelic person I had ever come across. She was the most special and important person in my life.
I am so incredibly blessed to have known her and to have been able to call her my best friend. One of my favorite things about her was her laugh, and how contagious it was. I will miss her deeply forever.
