Kam Bong Lee 1927 ~ 2005 Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Kam Bong Lee passed away peacefully in his home on December 31st, 2005 surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Bong was born on July 3rd, 1927 in Canton, China. He was a simple farm boy who through his ingenuity and resourcefulness supported his family through turbulent years in China and overcame many obstacles. He moved to Hong Kong in 1948 where he became a tailor at trade. He married his sweet wife Joyce Yin-Ha Wong in 1952. In 1969, he immigrated with his family to Utah. Bong was an outgoing and helpful man. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, martial arts, reading, singing, raising fish and small animals. Bong had accepted Jesus Christ to be his personal Savior and was baptized with his wife as a Baptist in 2005. Bong was preceded by his granddaughter Shania Chung. He is survived by his dear wife, Joyce; his children Anna Dong (Darryl), Jack (Shirley), Paul (Deanna), Toni Chung (Bo), Peter (Melanie); his 18 grandchildren Jared, Jonathan, and Stephanie Dong; Simon and Joshua Lee; Kathy Edgel (Denny), Tiffany, Paul Jason, Michael, Michelle, and Nicolas Lee; Alisa Holland (Jared), Nathanael, Jarom, Ammon, and Jacob Chung; Kolby and Reggie Lee; and his only great-granddaughter Bo Siu-Fa Holland. Funeral Service will be held on Jan. 7th, Sat. 11a.m. at Lake Hills Memorial 10005 South State Street, Sandy. A viewing in honor of Bong will be on Jan 6th Friday 6 p.m.-8p.m.
