You're on my mind everyday, especially this Thanksgiving. I know you loved Thanksgiving. Still difficult to believe that you're not here. Flying suddenly has become a little difficult for me...but I trust that you are flying too with your wings. I'm comforted in knowing that God didn't do this, but you are with him now. You are an angel in heaven just as you were here on earth. I miss you so much. I love you.

You taught me more about friendship, family, & ministry than I had learned in all my prior years and I'm for certain that I'm not the only one. Discipleship lives because you lived. I didn't want to believe it when I heard about you gaining your wings. I had to get confirmation from my cousin, Missy. You were such an inspiration, a joy to be around in middle school, as well as high school. Although, I didn't live in SW I would be there a lot at my grandmother's house. Your smile could brighten anyone's day. You definitely lived a life that was worth living with no regrets. God chose the most beautiful flower in his garden. KC you forever changed my life. First, when I was introduced to Destiny Family visiting IMAX. I was too nervous to go to service but after attending IMAX I knew this was my new church home. I will never forget one of the activities we did-I wrote IMAX changed my life to grow in relationship with God and most of all appreciate how God made me as a black woman. Having you to look upon made me more confident in my appearance and myself. Second, when I heard the news. Sister KC, my heart hurts but it rejoices because it made me take the step to completely sacrifice every area of my life to God. I know a handful of times in my 4.5 years at Destiny I would tell you marriage is coming, for you and for me. I loved how you would give me your big smile. KC I want to live honorable as you did. I realize even more, this is better than anything else especially if it is not following God. I want you to know how beautiful you are. Thank you for helping me run my race, to the finish.

I remember attending your graduation from UTEP. I was so proud of you and you were so excited. I remember when you came over to my house and ate unexpectedly. It was quite a pleasant surprise. You were so beautiful inside and out.I remember Sunday before last you told me how nice I dressed. I am so glad I had the chance to tell you "Happy Birthday and enjoy yourself". I was in total disbelief when I read about your passing. Immediately my mind was flooded with memories of us playing basketball together at D A Hulcy and cuttin' up on the court (both ballin' and acting silly) ☺. I appreciate you calling me back earlier this year, it was wonderful to hear from you. I wish I could talk to you again. I was SO proud to see how successful you had become and to see the Lord use you in a powerful way. As believers I know I will indeed see you again but it still hurts to have to say goodbye. Neekaboo, I remember when I posted something on your page a few years ago and you said "you know you family, when you call me by my childhood nickname". I am so proud of the woman that you became.
