The day my sister was born I was babysitting across the street. My dad said he would let me know the news as soon as he knew. I couldn't wait to see if it was a boy or a girl. Later he hung a sign on our lamp post announcing her birth. I was overjoyed to have a sister! I wish I had had more time to spend with her and share a few more laughs, but she was ready. I wish you peace and joy little sister.

My favorite memories are the summers on cape cod... laughing and not having a care in the world. I hope you are carefree again and you no longer have to carry the burdens of this world See you laters, love you.

First memory: 3rd Grade, Burgess, elementary school, Sturbridge, Massachusetts. At parent teacher night Kara introduced me to her parents, which I thought was really impressive. Through the years kept in touch with Kara via Facebook. Enjoyed my conversations with her and I will miss her.
