Karen Bowser Obituary
68, of Show Low, AZ, passed away on August 20, 2020 after a prolonged illness. She was born April 5, 1952 to Edna and Ivan Osterman in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and moved to Tucson in 1954, graduating from Palo Verde High School in 1970. Karen loved many things, from quilting blankets for abused children to turning wrenches under the hood of a car and rooting for her Packers. She loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting or enjoying the scenery and smells of the mountain with a cup of coffee on her porch. Holidays were very special to her, especially Christmas and Easter. Her mini schnauzers — Ulli, Duke and Ella — were her fur kids and she adored them. Karen is survived by her husband, Ronald Scot Bowser; brother, Ron Osterman; sister-in-law, Cinda and their two daughters and son, Allen George; daughter-in-law, Melinda and grandchildren, Emma and Cooper. Join us in celebrating her life Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to TMC's Hospice (Peppi's House).

To my precious wife and best friend, Karen Sue Bowser.
Karen you were the best thing that ever happened to me, you have been in my life since I was about 23. We were just friends back then, you helped me get thru In 1990 when I lost both of my parents and my dog within 3 months. Little did I know 13 years later we would get married, and start a whole new chapter in our life’s journey. You were more than a wife and best friend, you were truly my soulmate. Then came our fur kids, Ulli changed our lives, and then came Ulli’s real brother Duke who was truly a miracle, one you had prayed for, and I never thought it could happen, but the good Lord above granted you.. then in 2013. The lord called them to the Rainbow Bridge. We both were devistated, but we had so many memories to keep us going. Then right after moving to Show Low, AZ in Dec of 2013, the lord gave us another miracle, Ella Mae, she was everything that Ulli and Duke were and more. She is truly “momma’s Girl” and now looks for you every day. We are so happy we Were able to spend the last 6 days of your time left on Earth with you. Thank You so much Peppi’s House a hospice at TMC. They were so good to Ella and I. Ella slept with her mom every night with me sleeping in a chair next to you holding your hand and kissing you, telling you how much I love you. Even tho you could not talk after the second day I will never forget your last words to me, I was going for coffee 10 feet away and you said “ Ron, you can’t leave me, please don’t leave me” I told you honey, I’m not leaving honey I will never leave you, Ella and I are going to be with you forever, then I told you I love you sweetheart and you told me “ I love you too” those were your last words. Ones that I will never forget, my love for you will never die. And one day we will be together again, this time forever. I love you Karen, and don’t worry about Ella. I will take good care of her. Thank you for being my wife, best friend and as they say behind every successful man is a women like no other. I never would have been the person I am without you. So until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. I love you sweetheart, and I need you to watch over Ella and I , just as you did when you were here. I don’t know how I’m going to make it without you, but with your help , my new Guardian Angel. Darlin we will be together soon. Until I hold and kiss you again, I love you and always will.

We were looking forward to spending time together when we moved to AZ in a few months. Those visits will need to wait until resurrection morning. She was loved and will be missed!
